The
Alice Building, located at 236 Westminster Street, is a seven-story
classical revival structure that was built in 1898 by rubber
baron Joseph Banigan and named for his daughter.

Layout, Unit Sizes and Pricing
Each of the 38 residential LOFTS of the Alice Building offers a unique layout,
with between 750 and 2,000 square feet of floor space. Some of the seventh
floor LOFTS feature a mezzanine level. Rents start at $1000.

The Peerless Building houses underground parking with 67 spaces.
There is also Parking available in the Grant’s
Block Project. As part of the Westminster LOFTS project and occupying almost
the entire block surrounded by Westminster, Union, Weybosset and Clemence Streets,
the Grant’s Block project will have a 550 space parking structure as
well as retail/residential liner buildings fronting on the Westminster and
Weybosett Street ends. This is scheduled to open in 2008.
